Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20-plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly: that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we'll be replacing a side marker light, front side marker light, on the 2003 Dodge Neon, same as any 2000-2005 Dodge or Plymouth Neon. The tools you'll need are the same as for a headlight. You'll need a small screwdriver and an 8mmm wrench or socket and ratchet. Okay, we're going to really speed through taking the head light out. You can probably pick up enough to do it here but if you do need to see this, we do have this in our other videos. Just search for the Neon headlight. You need to take out your head light first to access your marker light.
You can see down here is a marker light and if you just want to do the bulb, then you can just reach down here and pull the bulb out and put a new one in. If you need to, if you had a little run in or something and you need to take out the light then put this back onto the clip that holds it. The first time, you probably need to put a little screwdriver down there in there and shove on it, just to get it moving and then it comes off by hand and then your marker light just slides back, then pulls out. You've got to push through so you can see, and it should be just a diamond shape. Tighten this in. They do have it tough because they want to seal it so that you don't get water in it. You've got to push it in now and I can turn the locket. Then put the front end first and put that in and then take your clip and lock it. Again, we're just going to fast forward putting the headlight in. If you need to see the detail on taking out or putting in your head light, just again, see our other videos and you can see this in regular speed.
We hope this helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.
