I took the old one out and put the new one in and the tailgate won't open.

I'm not a mechanic or a car hobbyist, but after viewing the video online on how to install, I knew I could handle this (pun intended lol). It took me less than 15 minutes. The part looks great and it fit in perfectly. I can now open and close my tailgate with ease. Looking at buying more parts and upgrading my blood red Dodge Ram truck. It's a 1995 model with over 446,000 miles on the original motor. Yuppers! Trying to make it to half a million.
