TRQ CV (constant velocity) drive axles are manufactured using premium raw materials designed to restore original performance. TRQ CV drive axles are new, so there is no core charge with your TRQ purchase. TRQ-designed drive axles utilize neoprene boots, moly grease, stainless steel clamps, and heat-treated ball tracks to ensure extended service life. Each TRQ axle is application-specific so each spline and thread will mate properly for a seamless fit. All products are fit and road-tested in our Massachusetts R&D facility to ensure we deliver on our promise of Trusted Reliable Quality.
CV axles are designed to transmit the power from your vehicle's drivetrain to the wheels while being able to flex and pivot to the demands of the steering and suspension systems. Perfect fit for my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. Watching the 1AAuto video, I was able to do the work myself. The axle stubs separated from the CV axles and stayed connected to my transmission so I did not have to replace them which saved me some money. My truck now drives without a clicking sound when turning!

This set will fit your vehicle if it is a Crew Cab or Regular cab, and with 4WD.
These items are only able to fit for vehicles with stock height.
No this has absolutely nothing to do with steering. This is basically the driveshaft/Axle for 4x4 models. When this breaks you can still steer. I would check your power steering pump, power steering fluid, and the rack & pinion system.

Yes they are the same, my truck is actually a TRX4 as well. The whole process went smooth until the CV would not come out of the differential housing. It would not separate, I ended up pulling the passenger inner axle shaft out through the retaining seal. Had to buy a new intermediate stub shaft and new Mopar only seal.
