Great priced option for heavy loads and towing.

This is a great shock for durability and support. The exterior spring gives the performance of a strut without the associated cost. It does however, raise the backend on my ram 1500 unloaded. A shorter version, maybe 2- 3 inches would fix that

I would say yes. Dont know the rating offhand but with the coils, I wish I had these when I was towing or loading it with firewood. A bit stiff on the open road however when its unloaded.

You would want to purchase a different set of shocks for the front of the vehicle as this is specifically for the rear. We don't currently have an installation video or instructions available for this part.
