Hi. I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20+ years' experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this, to show you the correct way to install parts from 1A Auto.com. The right parts installed correctly; that's going to save you time and money. Thank you, and enjoy the video.
In this video, we'll be replacing the taillight and showing you how to service the bulbs on this 95 Explorer; procedure is the same for any 95 to '01, although the taillights do differ slightly. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Pretty easy task; there's 2 Phillips screws right up here. Okay, then you just basically kind of grab hold, and pull out; it has little threaded, almost nails, kind of. If you want to service your bulbs, they all twist and pull out. Okay, and then the bulbs themselves just pull out of the sockets, and if you've gotten into a little scrape or fender bender and broken the taillight, here's the new one from 1A Auto; you can see , it's the exact same. It's going to all bolt in and everything, no problem. Then everything on the back is all the same. Okay, this one obviously is in good shape, so we'll just reinstall the original one. Put the bulbs in and turn. Okay, here's the little, kind of, nails that go into the little clips. There's a lineup pin right here, too. Give it a good tap, and put the screw back in. And then you're all set.
We hope this helps you out; brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.
