The caliper is nice. The threaded holes in the bracket weren't right. Every time I tried to start a bolt it wanted to cross thread. I didn't have a tap, so I ended up using the old bracket with the new caliper.

The right part the first time . And works as should.
They look to be well made and i like that they are new and nor reman'd. However I have noticed a few minor things. There are some spots that got missed during the finishing process and have sharp edges in some spots. Anyone else noticed that the calipers are improperly marked? Drivers side marked R, Pass side marked L. Not a big deal, just something to point out. The slide pins hopefully will work without issue. They do not have the updated design that Ford came out with a while back and the bolts seem to be of poorer grade than OEM. Lastly, The coating on the pistons is poor and incomplete. These are all minor concerns but things to consider because these are initial impressions that may possibly say something about the company as a whole. Otherwise, I hope they perform without issue. I will do a follow up review after getting them installed and some time on them. I'm sure they will be okay.
Solid calipers so far, definitely alot cheaper than what the local autoparts store wanted.
I was not sure what type of quality calipers I would be getting. But l do recommend these from A1-Auto with no worries. Very glad l chose A1!!
Great quality 100% NEW calipers. These calipers are not remanufactured. Fits exactly like the factory calipers.
Best thing I ever did no issues way better than reman junk.
I always recommend replacing both calipers at the same time. This kit provides both calipers for easy installation. Look and function good.
Fit was exactly perfect. OME of high quality, better than stock.
They are Phenolic. I don't know why you say composite pistons don't last. My OEM Ford calipers have Phenolic pistons with over 240k mi without issue.
Yes these will fit a 4x4.
Actual Measurements are not listed or available. Our parts are exact replacements for your vehicle's OEM parts. As long as your year, make, and model match up with our listing, these parts will directly fit and function like the originals.
I dont believe so but had nothing but problems with the re-mans. I replaced 8 different Ford remans between front and rear so I gave these a shot and couldnt be happier no issues been 2 years on rears no issue. Definitely my choice
