The door handle seemed sturdy enough. Video online was helpful on how to replace it. However, when we bolted it in, the latch mechanism/ elbow that pivots was rubbing on my metal door frame, so that it would not operate correctly. Filing back the metal slot in the door handle hole did the trick. So other than the hassle of figuring out why it wasn't working and how to solve the problem, the door hand worked. Just could have been made a little better, with tighter tolerances specified.
