Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a power window switch on this 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. We show you on the passenger side, but both rear doors are a similar procedure. The only items you'll need include a new power window switch from 1AAuto.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, just pry up this switch panel and pull straight up to release that last clip. Then push the tab on both of these harnesses and pull them free.
Now pry up the tabs on the back of the switch. There's two on one side and one on the other. Once you've pried them each out the switch will pull right out.
On the left is the old switch; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to mount exactly the same. Take your new one and push it into place. Reconnect your harnesses and then push the back end of the panel in first, and then push the front then and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a single button power window switch. This is a 2005 Ford F150. This is pretty much the same for this new style, 2004 to 2008. It's also the same for the passenger side rear door as well as the passenger front door. The items you'll need are a new power window switch from 1AAuo.com and a flat blade screwdriver.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, pry up this panel, then pull it forward and push the tab on the harness and disconnect it. Now using a flat blade screwdriver, pry out on the tab on either side of the switch while applying pressure in the opposite direction, and then pull it up and out.
Take your new power window switch and push it into place. Then reconnect the harness, slide the tabs back, and then push the clips down in the front and you're all set.

The switch fixed the problem for about nine months and now it is failing just like the original one. Works sometimes and sometimes it does not. Probably 95% no problem 5% does not work.

Item I ordered came as expected but it took a slow boat to China to get to me. Started out as UPS Innovations mail then changed to USPS but delivery dates kept changing.

While replacing the entire regulator in my aging Ford Expedition I broke both the window and door lock switches and ordered these replacements from 1A Auto. They were perfect, replaced them and they work great.

Electronics and I don't get along - but when the dealer told me they were going to charge me more than $300 to fix this, I was motivated to look up the part, cost and installation procedure to handle things myself. So simple a child could have done it - and $20 versus $300... AMEN!
