Right here on the driver's side on the side of the transmission is your output speed sensor, and it has a connector on it which has a tab on the top and the bottom, which you're going to want to disconnect first. This one the tab is actually broken off at the top, so it looks like somebody has been here before or it, or it's just a little brittle. But on the bottom, you just want to pry the tab down just slightly, and it'll slide right off.
On the sensor itself, there's an eight millimeter bolt in the bottom of it which you can access with an eight millimeter socket. Usa a 6” extension and a 3/8” ratchet to remove it. Once you get it loose, it will spin right out by hand. At this point, you might be able to turn the sensor so that it breaks free from its grip. This one's a little stuck.
Now you can see that we're using some pliers and possibly a screwdriver. Usually one of these will work. If not, you can use a small pry bar and pry against the transmission, or just kind of turn it 90 degrees and hopefully pop it’ll out. All right, so now we have the new sensor, and we're just going to slide it right in the hole. It's going to take a little bit of force to get it in. You can try turning it. All right, now we'll take our bolt and thread it in by hand. You always want to start it by hand so you don't accidentally cross thread it into the hole. Now you can take your eight millimeter socket, your extension, and ratchet and tighten it up. You don't have to get too crazy with it. Just kind of tighten it with your wrist. As soon as you start moving your elbow, you're probably putting too much force on it. Now we can snap the connector back on just like that. The job is done.

Quick delivery. Never needed to install part as it seems some critter chewed the wires off at the connector. Ended up only needing to replace pigtail (apparently a common problem whe u live in the country).
