In this video, we're going to show you remove and replace the power mirror switch on this Expedition. It's really pretty easy. It just needs a flat blade screwdriver and a little bit of confidence.
This power mirror switch is pretty easy. Just carefully use a little screwdriver, work it in underneath. Then, there's a little thumb tab on the connector here. Press and disconnect. The switch is out. Then, obviously, putting it back in is the reverse: connect, push it in, lock and test it.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the power mirror switch on this 2005 Ford Excursion. It's the same part and similar process on these Excursions from 2000 to 2005.The items you'll need for this are a new power window switch from 1AAuto.com, and a flat blade screwdriver.
Start off by prying up your switch panel and then sliding it forward. Now push the tab on each of these harnesses and pull them free. Push in the tab on the mirror switch and push it through the panel. You may need to pry out on this bottom tab, and it'll pull through.
On the left is the old power mirror switch. On the right is the new on from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they'll fit exactly the same. Push your new power mirror switch into place. Reconnect your harnesses. Push this back end tab in first, and then push down the front.

Good switch! Easily replaces the broken one in my Ford 2004 F250. Easy to install. Reasonable price.
Item fit perfectly and was very easy to install. My mirrors can now be remotely adjusted in all directions.
