Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace an ignition coil on this 2005 Ford Focus with the 2-liter 4-cylinder engine. The only items you'll need for this are a new ignition coil from 1AAuto.com and an 8mm socket and ratchet.
Your ignition coils are located right here, and each one is held in with an 8mm bolt. Start off by pushing the tab on the harness, disconnect it, and then remove that 8mm bolt. Once that's removed, the ignition coil will pull up and out.
On the right is the old ignition coil; on the left is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see that they're identical, and they'll fit exactly the same. Push the ignition coil down into place and replace that 8mm bolt. You'll want to repeat this process for all four, reconnect the harness, and then you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

Good parts

Installed good. Need to make sure you align it but it fits and solved a oil leak issue. Rough idle still exists but I think that is related to a different component. One small issue is the OEM oil fill cap does not fully sit flush. It installs fine other than 2 small things. I got complimented on how nice my engine looks by one of my neighbors, so that's a plus!
Could Not Have Gone Any Better

1A Auto could not have made this easier. All the parts needed in one kit and the installation was seamless. Myself not being a mechanic, had the valve cover, valve cover seals, spark plugs and coil packs all changed in less than 90 minutes. I would and have HIGHLY recommend 1A Auto for all your parts and instructioal videos. Thanks 1A.

1aauto was able to provide the part we needed to get our car back on the road. Vehicle's valve cover had a hair line crack in it and it only got bigger once the engine was hot. It leaked oil out and drained down into the spark plugs. After ordering the part from 1aauto, we were glad to receive the valve cover including seals on time as promised. Now that we replaced all the old parts with the new parts from 1aauto, the car runs like a champ. Thank you and we will always look for replacement parts with 1aauto first before going anywhere else. You have gained a customer for life.
Def worth the purchase for the price.

Everything was a perfect match no problems. 4 stars for two reasons (it should be a 4.5)
1. new bolts were not included
2. It did not come with a new oil cap and the oem oil cap is not a tight fit. No oil pressure lights or anything so it must work enough. It wiggles some and feels kinda loose. But it was a great deal. Also had a wheel bearing from here with over 60k on it and then I sold the vehicle still going strong.
