What are Tapered Bearings and Why Use Them? Tapered bearings use rollers shaped like flat-topped cones and two races angled from the outside in of the bearing. This angle makes the bearing better at handling forces exerted on the bearing during cornering (known as axial load) in trucks and large cars. Your model came from the factory with tapered bearings. Roller ball bearings work well for smaller cars, but replacing a tapered bearing with a roller ball bearing increases wear and failure.

I had a bad bearing on a Ford sport track course with no press. This knuckle assembly makes replacement much simpler and quicker pulled the old one off. This one slid perfectly in place fix the issue.

I originally thought the old tires were shot because there was no play in the wheel bearings. I was wrong and decided to go this route for my application for so many reasons. Trust me when I tell you I was dreading this, but it was a pretty straight forward repair and A LOT of videos out there on it as well. I would highly suggest having an impact for this one!! The parts seem very high quality so far and arrived on time via free shipping. This is my 1st experience with 1A Auto and I am impressed.

Perfect fit plus great price ??
Looked like the one online. Fit was perfect. Only thing was the Original axel nut was a 36 mm, and the one in the kit was a 35mm. I had to run out and buy a new socket. The 3 bolts on the back were installed with lock tight and rusted so it was a lot of work taking them off, but the new kit went in smoothly. I highly recommend this instead of pressing out the wheel bearing.
I have to say that the part came in exactly like the photo with the new brake shoes installed part was clean well machine didn't have any rough burrs all the bolts lined up perfectly and fit just as it should I've had it on there for about I would say three or four weeks now no issues it's the third fourth time that I've used bearings from trq I've been happy with all of them I got to say I'm really sold on your parts good job incredibly fast shipping I got it the next day after ordering it that's just crazy to me thank you for providing such great service
