Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out and next time you need parts for your vehicle think of 1AAuto.com. In this video we're going to show you how to service a headlight on this GMC Sonoma. It's a pretty easy process. No tools are required, although if you're mounting tabs are difficult you may want to use a pair of pliers to kind of wiggle them and shake them and loosen them up. Servicing the headlights on this GMC S15 Sonoma couldn't be easier.
Pull up on the couple of little tabs here. Okay, the whole assembly comes out. Right back here all your plugs, the headlights. You'll probably want to pull the harness off first. You turn the lights clockwise actually. They come out. I'm just going to replace them with the same thing. Get it in there. Counterclockwise to lock. All these twist. Okay, these little bulbs just come out and push back in.
Then these here they have little tabs on them. Press the tabs and twist counterclockwise and then remove. Counterclockwise here. Remove. Then disconnect your other headlight. The whole assembly comes out. Here's my original light. New assembly from 1A Auto. You can see it's a whole lot more clear. It's going to install just like your original one. I'm going to start with the fog light right down here. We press it all the way in, twist to lock. Okay, we plug in our headlight. Line this up here. Plug in the headlight bulb. This one make sure the little rubber gasket is on there. Insert it. Make sure that's not in the way. Insert it, twist it and lock it.
Put this one in. Twist and lock. Pull the plastic off a little bit here. The light has two tabs on it that go back in. Make sure these tabs are up out of the way. Push it back in place. Now you can see down in behind. Make sure that everything is coming through correctly. This side is all set. Push it down. This side is now through. Push down and lock it in. Okay, nice new light. Looks a lot better than the old one.
