By the end of this video, you will know how to install them and where to get them, and that is going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we are going to replace the parking light on a 2004 Sierra 2500, which is basically the same as any 1999-'06 GMC Sierra. This is a pretty easy process, it doesn't require any tools. There is two pins that hold the headlight in, right there and there, and you'll twist those out and pull them up. Then the headlight basically comes right out and then once it is out, you can reach in behind and unplug the lights. They're basically just little teeth that you can pull with your thumb and they unplug. Then the parking light is actually snapped in. There is a little bracket that goes into the side there, and then a little piece that you squeeze and snap out there, and you can see it, switch hands here and I'll push on that tooth and the light will pop out.
Then you just pull it forward and twist out the bulbs, and you can now service either those bulbs or if you need to replace the whole parking light because it got damaged or broken, you can do that. Then to install is the reverse of the procedure, insert the harnesses and twist to lock in. Side marker light and you want to get the inside tooth in there first. Then you can see that at a little better angel here. That just presses right into that slot and locks in. Then you re-install your headlight. At this time, just to show you, you can service the headlight bulbs if you want to, just twist and pull them right out. That's the high beam, same thing with the low beam. They just twist and pull right out. If you were replacing that headlight, you can see that black bracket, you might be able to bolt that on to the new headlight or if you headlight assembly comes with that whole thing, then it just goes in that easily.
Just place the light back into place and use your pins, twist them into place and lock them and there you are. You've just replaced the parking light and we will do a quick test. The running lights, the low beams, high beams, and signals just to make sure and you see actually our side marker light is not working, so we will actually go back in and replace that small bulb and fix that side marker light.
We hope this helped you out and thank you very much. This video was brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. This video, we'll be replacing the headlight on a 2004 GMC Sierra, basically the same as a '99 to '06 Sierra. It is a pretty easy process. It requires no tools. So, with that, we'll get you to it.
There are two pins that hold the headlight in right there and there, and you'll twist those out and pull them up. Then, the headlight basically comes right out. Then, once it's out, you can reach in behind and unplug the lights. They're basically just little teeth that you can kind of pull with your thumb, and they unplug.
Okay, now we're going to replace the headlight. At this time, you can obviously service the bulbs if that's all you're looking to do. So, they just twist in ... or twist out and twist back in. Then, our headlights come with that whole bracket and everything, so if you're replacing your headlights at this point, you're plugging them in and then everything should install just the same way. Plug them in, put the headlight back in there. Take your pins, put them down through. Obviously you have to make sure that the headlight is all the way back in and lock them into place, and your head light's all set.
Now, we'll do a quick test. Just make sure everything's working. The headlight, the high beam, and the signal are not working. Actually that side marker's not working, so we'll really quickly replace that, and then, you're all set. Hope this helps you out. Headlights are pretty easy to service on these GMC trucks.

Spent approximately 2 weeks trying to convince Emily M in customer service that my multifit part that I received in my lighting kit did not fit my Yukon because it was wrong part. When Taylor, Sergi and Tim in customer service and Quality Control realized the pictures that I sent was the incorrect part then action was taken. Now 3 weeks later my correct part is on its way. Even with all this I am going to give 5 stars. I have ordered before and will order again in future.
