I ordered this to replace tie rods and boy was that a great decision! Just be sure to not over-tighten the nuts. A little pressure goes a long way. If you over-tighten you can strip the threads and make it impossible to reuse.

Great tool, smart invention .Wish I thought of it.For the price a great value.Easy to use a must when you cant get a wrench on the inside tie rod.Some vehicles are easy to access.Others have no room .This tool takes it off easily.Use a 3/8-1/2 adapter ,2 long 1/2 extensions so you clear the fender opening with a 1/2 breaker bar and Bobs your uncle.

awesome tool. made removing the inner tie rod a lot easier. Had a lot of trouble trying to remove the inner tie rod with another tool. Only downside was had to keep loosening, repositioning and re tightening the tool until the inner tie rod was loose. Tool made the job a lot easier.

Nice tool, but extremely difficult to fit on some vehicles inner tie rod base and still have room to turn it enough to loosen the inner tie rod, example, worked very easy on a 2007 Hyundai Elantra, extremely hard to place on a 2014 Mazda 6 GT, because inner tie rod base lines up with sway bar, barley enough for a quarter turn, but if tight enough you can make it work.

I had previously borrowed the full set from a local auto parts store, but bought this one to have handy. It was a tight fit, for my hands and socket, to get in there and tighten it down. But it did work. Very hard to torque though without it slipping off.

I do not know how I could have performed the task as easily without it. I would encourage anyone thinking about doing this job to purchase this sturdy, but inexpensive tool.

Works and cheaper than the special tools, but after doing the job the special tools would have been a great help. You have to tighten both bolts turn a half turn, untighten both bolts, readjust the tool tighten it and repeat like 5 times. Big headache. But it is what they sold me so I got what I paid for

This tool made replacing my inner tie rods very easy. A Extension rod from the tool to my breaker bar is what I needed to get enough torque to loosen the tie rod but it came very easy on both sides.

It worked well with a long extension to reach deep. It can be tough to fasten the nuts in a tight space then refasten them, to slowly turn the inner tie-rod. One side was harder than the other, but to be expected of course.

Good tool, got me out of a pinch of a super tight inner tie rod. Don't expect this tool to last you a long time. It's one of those tools to use for a couple of times then it's in the trash. But I wouldn't pass it up it definitely has its place saving time and frustration
