Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years of experience repairing and restoring cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly, that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the headlight switch on this '95 Accord, same as any '94 to '97. The only tools you'll need are a Philips screwdriver and a small regular screwdriver.
You got to start by disconnecting your negative battery terminal. Remove three screws from the bottom that hold the steering column trim together. One is up in there. This is your adjuster lever here and one on the other side right up there above where the key goes and then one down in the middle right here and those all three are Philips screws.
Once you have those screws removed, just pull this apart and this piece comes, the top comes right off and the bottoms pulls out and down and out. You're going to want to turn your wheel, you might have to turn have to turn your key on so that you can make these two screws and remove them with a Philips screwdriver. Then use the little screwdriver. Kind of work it right in between here and pull the switch out and then here's your harness connection, use your thumb, press right there and disconnect it. Here's your switch out. Here's a switch from 1A Auto and a lot of times, what will happen on these is the inside will wear out some so when you put your light or your high beams will flash or it will stop working and your lights won't go on and all kinds of stuff.
Here's the one from 1A Auto. It will go in there, mount in just the same and I think it will hook up the same, all the plugs are the same. The one on this car is working just find so obviously reinstalling should be pretty easy. Put it back in and then you push it back into place and reinstall your screws. Now you can hook up your battery again, test it and make sure it's working the way you want it. Put on these trims, easy enough, the top on, the bottom on, set it and clip it a little bit. Press it together. Now put the screws back in. Okay, we'll speed up and just put those screws on, tighten them up and just reconnect your battery and we should be all set.
We hope this helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that serves you on the internet and in person.

Was missing the hi-beam function due to broken switch. The replacement took maybe ten minutes and works as it should.
