Great part. The only thing I didn't give 5 star because the plastic tube wasn't the right angle so I have to use my old one for the correct angle to be able to connect my return hose.
As described. Worked great. Only issue is the black plastic was at a different orientation than the OEM part that was removed but the hose was able to reach.
Pump inlet hose elbow is not oriented correctly for the 2008 Honda CRV. I used my original hose and it cracked within a week before I got a longer more flexible pump inlet hose. I would recommend checking the orientation of the inlet hose elbow before starting any kind of repair.
Napa, RockAuto, AutoZone and other sellers provide the wrong pump. 1A auto was the only one to provide a photo of the correct pump and then also provide a pump that matched the photo. Good buy. Competitive pricing, although technically it's the best pricing because no one else is offering the correct pump.
Ordered this 2 weeks ago so that I had it. This DYI video was spot on doing the job. Only difference was the high pressure bolts were both 10mm for my 2009 CRV. The technician has quality hints and doing this job. This would have cost me nearly $850 and I was able to do this for cost of the pump, 1 1/2 pints of fluid and additional required o-ring for the high pressure side. I did extra cleaning on the reservoir to remove all of the fluid I could before I added fresh.
Looked perfect. Installed perfectly. Running perfectly (so far).
The pump failed on day two!
