After installation, you must use a digital multimeter and back probe the red reference wire as the harness is connected and ground the negative probe to any ground source! As you adjust the sensor closed throttle should be reading .5v and wide open throttle should be 4.5v then tighten the screws and recheck the sensor to make sure it stayed at the measured value and now it is calibrated
