Excellent. Had a check engine light. Swapped part and good as new!
The part fits but made my idle worse. As shown in the video, after installing this part upon start it will always rev between 1.5k ~3k rmp. If I try to drive while it's doing this, slowing down or coming to a stop will shut off the engine. Even if the clutched is pressed in. Natural resting RMP after leaving it alone for about 20 mins or reving it high to try and make it rest is 1.6k. I'll have to install my original part back because it is dangerous to have my car shut off while its bouncing in revs. With my original part installed, it was not doing this. It would from time to time just idle to 2k, wasn't a big deal but thought id replace it since the check engine light came on because of it. -2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition, Manual
Did not work. Made the idle surge a lot worse. The mechanical part of the IAC valve is OK at best and the sensor portion is not OEM, thus creating issues with very high and surging idle. Hondas are finicky. I chose this part because the OEM part brand new is around $350-$375. I will be rummaging through junkyards to find an OEM replacement.
Fits exact, no issues, fixed the problem. And cost was perfect.
