They lasted about 30,000 miles before they started squeaking and clunking from the strut mount. For reference, the owl struts lasted about 160,000 miles. They were covered by the warranty but you have to cover your own return shipping which was $170. Not worth the hassle at all, just buy higher quality struts.

So far so good. Installation was as smooth as removing the factory units. Firmed up the old worn out units and improved ride quality dramatically.

These strut towers were and exact fit due my vehicle and I had no issues installing them and the were reasonably priced. I would buy these again if needed and I highly recommend this product.
Easy to find and place order on website, got delivered on time. Exact fit on my 04 E AWD w/ABS. Didn't have any problems reported by others regarding threads on brackets. I had given it out to a shop to install. The mechanic installed the passenger side and said the 2 bolts on the bottom for the driver side don't line up. I don't have a private garage or air tools so that's why I gave it out. To confirm what the mechanic said, I tried installing it myself and had no issues. This was a straight forward no brainer install so I gave it out, my mistake. It's been almost 2 months, the truck is handling fine, seems like quality parts.

The loaded strut assemblies fit perfect and were quick to install. No worrying about the spring shooting off! The ride quality is good also
I had the front end replaced and they worked perfectly. Sadly I didn't do all 4 at the same time and now I am about to have to do round two and upgrade the suspension on the rear end. All in all, I am happy with the way the front end struts fit and have performed so far.

i do not use a torque wench for most repairs. I tighten fasteners evenly and approximately equal to the torque required to remove the fasteners. If I remember correctly, there were three fasteners that hold the top part of the strut in place. The strut itself was already set up. That is the important fastener/dimension/torque. The remaining bolts, top and bottom, only require general torque guidelines.
