Some radiators are designed to be used on both automatic and manual transmission applications. These radiator may have fittings for an automatic transmission fluid cooler. However these radiators can be used on manual transmission models without issue and require no additional parts or modifications.

Original 2006 Hyundai Elantra radiator cracked. Ordered this one. It shipped quick. The replacement fit easily into the vehicle. Replacement had necessary nuts and all holes lined up.

I bought this radiator for my wives 2004 Elantra. Usually aftermarket parts can be tricky as they don't fit up directly. That was not the case with this radiator. It bolted up perfectly and the installation videos provided made this swap a piece of cake. I would recommend 1A Auto to anyone that is a do it yourselfer like myself or someone that does not like paying the dealerships overpriced parts.

This radiator will work just fine for your 2001 Hyundai Elantra! If you have a manual transmission then you can just leave the automatic fittings alone. They are on a separate core so they will not leak any fluid.
