Part was a direct fit. Unfortunately first pump failed after less than a year. Warranty doesn't cover return shipping of failed pump. Replacement pump failed within a week. Great installation videos but unfortunately this part doesn't match the video quality.
Everything had shipped in a timely matter and the product was on my doorstep within a few business days! Excellent condition for the price you pay! Works amazing even fixed my gas guage on my dashboard! With this fuel pump you can also see a increase in your MPG! Definitely would recommend buying this product if your looking to replace your Fuel Pump!
Great product, simple to install and a great price compared to other options. Jeep is back up and running after the factory sender failed. A couple quick tips on verifying if the sender is bad: 1. If your engine cranks but won't start, swap the fuel and starter relays. They are the same, and if you're engine still cranks after swapping your fuel relay is good. If it doesn't crank, get a new relay. 2. If the relay is good, check power at the rear fuel sender electrical connector (just in front of the fuel tank). If there is power there, you need a new sending unit. Hope this helps someone else tackle this job for the first time. P.S. I had to do the job twice! My fault.. be careful when installing the new sender. The float is delicate and it will pop out if you hang it up during install. Then your fuel gauge reads full all the time! Also, plug the filler neck and vent hoses with a rag to prevent debris entering the tank.
Seems to be great quality OEM replacement. Still working great after 2 weeks, Jeep cold starts instantly now, and my fuel gauge works again! Even comes with a sticker for the toolbox.
