Worked great on my 98 Cherokee 4x4 with 4.0
I say keep a couple of IACs in your jeep along with a TPS and MAP Sensor. Yeah, you have to relearn the system by starting n driving relearn:) Oh, make sure you check the condition of your throttle-body too. If n doubt replace it:)
The part did the job.
Does not fit a 99 2.5L Dodge Dakota engine as advertised. RPMs were over 3k at idle.

For 1 it is not that color it is metal not plastic. The gasket is too big so you have to use your original gasket. I've gone through two of these so far and it's still not working and had to put the original one back on. I don't think this is meant for a V6

Bought this awhile back. It installs good. However, they O-ring and screws it came with didn't fit well enough to be used. Also the plug pig tail. Doesn't seat all the way. But overall it seems to work as it is intended to
I do not think that will solve y he problem. My engine will start and continue high acellation. I removed the the idle control cleaned it out then replaced it. By the time 1a part came I was up and running. A few months later I did change the valve cause it happened again no problem since.
