It broke after being installed for 3 months
The drive shaft is already bad.
Drive shaft virbrates at highway speed's, 45mph +, vibration can be felt and heard. Not sure if its because the shaft has no balancing weights or what but I will be returning.
I installed the driveshaft myself on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 4.7L V8 and thought it needed balancing but it was actually grease in the boot causing it to vibrate at speeds >65mph. I found this out the hard way because on the day of installation, the boot ripped while driving on the highway leaving a quarter-sized whole in the side of the boot. This threw grease all over my undercarriage but I was stratified in knowing that I not longer had a vibration until higher speeds (that I would not go anyway). However, recently (now about 2 months and <1,500 miles after installation) I was driving on the highway and the entire boot ripped apart and knocked an ABS sensor connector apart (no big deal since the connector just snapped back together but it was pretty scary for all of that to happen at 60-65mph). There could be underlying issues on my vehicle that would aid in the destruction of the boot but I can't think of anything that would cause that to happen. I will just be purch

In order to confirm the fit of these parts you would need to know the engine size, the length of the OE shaft from weld to weld, as well as if the OE shaft was a CV joint style or U-Joint style. This particular product is specific to models with a V8 4.7L engine, has a 20 Inch measurement (weld to weld) and is also the CV Joint Style Design.
