This item was ordered for a 2001 Wrangler and installed quickly with a direct fitment. I didn't have to make any modifications or manipulate anything to get the new AC controls installed. All harnesses and wires were identical between the old and new pieces. I was very glad to get this installed in just a few minutes.

works great, would have given it a 5 star review but... the vent position switch wire pigtail was at least a foot short. I used my old switch and wiring (since it was never the problem in the first place). 2003 Wrangler Sahara

Out of 4 speeds , number 3 does not work. Damn my bad luck
The part works well. The purchased vacuum lines will have to be swapped with the original control lines. I also had to replace the blower motor resistor to repair the fan speed issues.
UTube video was great in helping me to replace the old one. However, the wiring/tube harness was not long enough so I had to use the old one that was already attached to the harness. I took apart the new and replace with the old. Took an extra 15 minutes but all worked out well. The old tubes and harness were still in good shape.

Most likely you'll need the heater controller. Some of the older Jeeps have heater controllers that run off vacuum, which is fine until there's a blockage in one of the vacuum lines. I've replaced my 99 TJ's heater controller 3 times and I have a spare waiting. For me it's always the same: high is the only speed that works.
