I replaced with this unit on a black 2014 CX-5 Touring, right side. Color? Match. Fit? Perfect. BSM working? 100%. Auto control from door work? 100%. Shipping? Fast. Packaging? Protective. Price? Unbeatable.
Perfect replacement. BSM works great. Was fairy easy to install using YouTube but some advice is to make sure the mirror wiring goes around the glass rail. Original replacement installed by dealer it didnt so the window wouldnt ope all the way. I was told its a window switch problem. However, after routing the wires properly the window opens all the way like a champ.
Looks great. I did have a slight problem installing it. It said this was the right fit for my car, but the base where it attaches to my car door was not the same as the original one. The original one had permanent female threads where the attaching screws would go, and the one I received had permanent threaded male screws sticking out. I swapped the base on my old mirror and put it on the new mirror, and it fits fine.
