Great product
The break pads where perfect match. They were packaged nicely. Would recommend these to anyone to buy.
Pads slipped right into place. I was stumped, however, why the caliper would not squeeze back using a c-clamp. Researched on YouTube and found that a special tool was needed to "turn clockwise" the caliper piston instead of squeezing it back. So, ordered what I thought was the correct tool for that, but when it arrived it was only for calipers that needed squeezing back in order to slip the brake pad mechanism back over the rotor. Called BMW but they do not sell tools for this! Called NAPA. That clerk was very helpful, stating that he had no tool for that, but O'Reilly's did, and rented it for a down deposit, returned when I returned tool.
2007 -2013 is gen 2, The part # you provided is the ones I put on my Gen1 2003-2006 cooper S, brakes may not have changed
