The CV axle looks exactly as seen in the picture. I've replaced both axles on a 2014 Ford transit connect and a 2006 Nissan Altima. So far so good. No issues whatsoever. I had no issues replacing the drivers side axle on my 2013 Nissan Rogue, but the axle seen in the picture which is for the passenger side was a different story. I could not get the inner half for the axle out of the bearing holder. I used heat and had a slide hammer with an axle removal attachment but couldn't get it out. Then I decided to separate the axle and just use the outer half from the inner boot out. So far it's working like a charm.
