This video is brought to you buy 1AAuto.com. Your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi. My name is Mike Green. I want to help you save time and money repairing your vehicle. I have 20 plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks. My company 1A Auto sell high quality replacement parts over the internet. In this video I'll be showing you how to install these parts. By the end of this video, you'll know how to install them, and where to get them. That's going to save you time and money. 1Aauto.com what other internet company puts a face with the reputation like this. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we'll replace the master power window switch in this 1998 Nissan Altima. This procedure is the same for all 1998-2001 Nissan Altimas. Tools required are only a regular screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver. So, we're working here with the drivers front door, and what you do is kind of pull up on that bezel a little bit and stick the screwdriver in. You'll contact a clip and once you pop that clip a little bit, it just comes right out. The harness hooks into this switch. There's a little button right there, and it's a little difficult to push that button in, but you should be able to push it in with your finger. Once you get it, it comes out really easy. It's kind of one of those things you work at it for a little bit. Figure out the best way to press it and pull out on the harnesses at the same time.
As you see, once it comes out, it comes out easy. It's held on by four screws, four Phillips Screws. We'll speed up the video a little bit here. Once you have those screws out, then you can replace this switch. This switch actually works fine. We're just doing it for an example. We'll put it back in again. Speed up the video. Four Phillips screws. Use your screwdriver, tighten them up a little bit. Reinstall the switch the same way you pull it out. First plug in the harness, then we'll do a quick test here to make sure everything works right. You want to test all your windows, your locks, make sure the window lockout button works everything. Once you're satisfied it's working good, then it just slips down and in place. You're all set. A fairly simple replacement.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
Okay, this service switch is pretty easy. Take a screwdriver and gently pull up. It comes out there, it comes out here. It comes up and out. There's a harness here, press on your thumb in that, and then pull it off. This harness: press on a thumb with that. Work it a little more and pull it off.
Then use a Phillips screwdriver. There are four screws. Just speed it up here as I remove those four Phillips screws. Pull that off and install the new switch.
We're just going to reverse the procedure to make sure you get linear correctly. Fold it in and start the screws. First by hand. I'll fast-forward here, as now you see what I'm doing. Just that, I put the screws in by hand first, and then tighten them up nice and snug with your screw driver. Then we'll just find a plate pretty easy.
We connect that harness. We connect and leave the switch harness. Then work it down in. Snap it a little. Snap it in place here.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the power window switch the front driver side, which is the four window switch with the lockout button, and it's a pretty easy procedure. This is a 2003 Frontier, pretty much the same for any 2001 to 2004. Only tool you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
There is a Phillips screw right down in the door pull here, and we'll remove that. Then just pull up on the armrest pad and it just pops right off, and then pull up on the front side of the panel first. Pull it out.
Then just disconnect the two harnesses. There are tabs on them. You may want to use a small screwdriver to help press the tabs in. You can see, just use your thumb, press the tab in, pull out the harness. Again like I said, you may want to use a screwdriver just to help you press the tabs in, and then there are four screws that hold the switch to that panel, pretty easy, and remove those four screws. We'll speed up as we do that.
On the left is the original switch. These can get wet and then it'd stop working. See the new switch from 1A Auto, it's exactly the same. Everything is going to plug in exactly the same. Okay, I'm just kind of speed through reinstallation. Back to the panel with the four screws, plug it in. Snap the panel down into place, and then put the screw in that holds the door pull in place, and then the armrest pad again.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the master power window switch on this 2000 Nissan Altima. A pretty easy repair, the only thing you'll need is a small flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
Replacing this window switch is pretty easy. Take a small screwdriver right up in here, pry nice and firm, the switch comes up and out, and then there's a button right here that you push and disconnect it. Then there are four Phillips screws to hold the switch to the panel and the switch comes out.
Gather the screws from my old switch. New switch from 1A Auto, just like the original one goes right in, put the four screws in, plug the switch in back down first, and lock it into place.

This was my first online purchase all through youtubing how to fix my switch. I was super excited that I installed it myself, as a single mom on a budget, this purchase, price and video install was PERFECT for me! Although it didn't come as fast as I like, I saved some dollars!

I got my part in just four days and it worked just fine. Went in just like the video said it would. Very nice fit and it worked well. Five stars compared to the last time this happened. Last time this installation cost me almost $150.00....
Good for 1A Auto....

Helpful online support. I agree with online sales, always best to call and verify part. Mine had possible confusion regarding application to my Nissan model. The video was pretty clear. Install took all of 10 minutes max. Saved min $150.00 vs. job quoted by my typically fair priced mechanic. Paid for my camping trip in the woods over Thanksgiving. Part works fine but only installed for 2 weeks. Lifetime warranty. My mechanic had only one year warranty which is a good one.

The product was at a great price compared to others. It shipped quickly and got her on-time. Most importantly, it fixed my daughter's driver's side window. I appreciate the message letting me know the part arrive as it contained a video with instructions to install the part. I saved over $300 based on what the mechanic wanted to charge me.
