fit in door but when I went to fasten window clips to it the slide on the left side would not lay flat on window clip had to remove metal bracket and use bracket off old regulator a real pain I was in a time crunch and did not have time to return it - I have ordered other products from 1aauto and had no problems

Window stopped going up all the way (unless I pulled it up). Talked to some people/researched on line and found regulator was most likely the cause. I also got window clips and plastic guides. I didn't realize the plastic guides come with the new regulator, so I didn't need them. The "problem" ended up being a broken window clip. However, I still replaced the regulator because it was was worn and weak. This new regulator was very easy to install after watching the 1A Auto videos on youtube and I couldn't be happier with the results!

1A Auto was wonderful, it arrived on time and was in good shape, the box was heavily damaged on one end but the part inside was fine, However, the motor was wired backwards from the factory, in other words, when you want the window down you need to push the button up, and visa-versa. I had already installed it in my car and didn't want to tear it apart again, yes, they offered me a replacement, but I declined. The car is in Florida so I won't have much need to be going up and down with the window. No, you can't attach the wires backwards, they will only go on one way, all the other windows work correctly. I can live with up for down and down for up. Just check it out before you install it because you need to super glue the glass to it.

no the bracket on the glass do not come with the regulator. Use the old ones. They glue back to glass.

The brackets that hold the window are bolted to the register that you receive. The bracket does not come with the unit.

Hi Paul B., are you talking about the GM unit (I've used several recently). It sounds like you are referring to the channel that holds the glass. No, that is not included. You may need to shop for window parts, not regulator parts for that one.

I'm sorry, I hired someone to install it. He did have quite a fit getting the window unattached to the old brackets because they were glued on so well. I did not hear any complaints about the installation, and he finished in one day.

No they are not. They cost me around 15 bucks at a parts store.

On my car the regulator was wore out and the material that was suppose to retain the window by compression were dried out and worthless. Everything I needed to repair the window to factory specs came with the regulator I received. The only thing I reused was the glass. The rest came with my purchase.

They were not. My glass and brackets were fine, so this was not an issue for me. Good luck.
