I replaced my noisy power steering pump with this unit, Steering is nice and quite now,
Pump leak at the shaft seal after driving for about a week now i have to replace again.
So far, so good. It's only been a couple of weeks. I can't give it 5 stars yet.

Yes, most power steering fluid is made the same and they are compatible together. What the oem used should be good to use for the new pump, there will still be some old fluid in the rack & pinion anyway. Hope this helps, have a good day
