Does this kit have everything I need to take my stock non-towing and non power folding mirrors on my 2016 Big Horn 2500 to towing power folding mirrors?

Yes, this set of mirrors will replace your non-towing mirrors and have the ability to upgrade to power folding. It comes with a wiring kit for the power folding. You must make sure you match up the other options listed for these mirrors. If you have any additional features (auto dim, memory etc.) or less than what is listed then these will not work.

If all other options line up (puddle light, heater, etc) will this kit be a plug and play with directions to install the power fold operation? Can you get the mirrors in chrome as well?

yes it is a plug and play. The heater, the power adjust and the puddle lights plug right into the module located in the door. I do believe they come in chrome.

Will these mirrors plug and play if you already have all the options as described? Heated, power fold, temp sensors, puddle lights, turn signals and power adjust. I just dont want to purchase a ton of stuff and only use half of it. Thanks

As long as you match the options from your factory mirror to our mirrors then these will be plug and play.

My mirrors are non-towing, power adjust and heated. They dont have puddle lamps or turn signals. I dont see an option offered to match my mirrors, they all have puddle lamps and turn signals. Will I have to purchase mirrors with puddle lamps and turn

This is correct. The door modules will have the sockets to plug the puddle light/turn signal plugs into, but wont actually do anything. Code adds to the trucks programming are required to activate the light functions.

What size are the mirrors 7x11? What size is the power mirror switch?

Yes, the mirror section is 7x11" and we do not have specs for the switch.

Does this require the additional reinforcement brackets I have also read about?

I did not add any additional supports or brackets. The mirrors work great.

Where is the supplied switch supposed to be installed according to directions for these mirrors?

This can be installed anywhere, but most people find a spot on the dash for it.

Is there anywhere to get a set of the installation instructions that I could read over before I decide to buy?

If I already have power folding standard mirrors, will these plug and play to upgrade to tow mirrors and still be able to use the stock fold button on the door?

Mirrors should be replaced in an "option for option" fashion. If your mirrors do not have the same options that are listed in our listing, there is a possibility that this mirror may not function properly. As the mirrors are an upgrade to power folding you would not be able to use this if your vehicle already has power folding. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Everything you will need comes with the mirrors. Just make sure you call the 800 # with Vin # to make sure the mirrors go to your veh.

Will the turn signal lights work if I dont currently have them but I do have the power fold and puddle light and heat and power mirrors?

They will not. This set is only for models that have power, temp sensor, heat, and puddle light as features on their OE mirrors. It includes a harness to upgrade to power folding.

I don't see the door module in the photos provided. There should be a new module that has an additional button that folds/un-folds mirrors. Is this included in the kit?

No. These are not power folding

Just installed, love them!! Couple minor things

I just installed the mirrors two days ago. The process went very well, but it did take me 4 hours. I am very mechanically inclined, so plan on a half day start to finish considering you want to take your time and be thorough. Only 2 minor issues: 1.) The included fuse tap WILL NOT work with the newer RAM. The fuses are much more narrow in this truck, so don't bother trying to run the power wire into engine compartment. I ended up having to use a vampire tap. No big deal. 2.) For the RAM to 'turn on' the extra options ( for me: turn signal, heat, puddle lights) I need to 'enable' codes, which I am not sure how to do/ask for and if the dealer has to do it. Been doing research, but seems like this is going to be a chore. Otherwise, installation went very smooth, and the folding is AWESOME!! ( I have to fold mirrors to fit in the garage.) Keep in mind that in order to get the puddle lights and turn signals to work with this mirror (providing you didn't have them already activated to begin with) you must have them activated by your dealership. I just happened to be at my local Ram dealership for something else and I asked the Parts manager if he could active the turn signal and puddle lights because I was planning on installing these towing mirrors this weekend. He flashed my truck to enable the towing mirror package, turn signals and puddle lights while my truck was getting some other work done (I was not charged for this but each dealership is different). I installed the towing mirrors when I got home (took about 1.5 hours after watching the 1AAuto "YouTube " video on how to install them. I did add a few other parts to the install (the trailer mirror support brackets, which are not required but I figured since I had the door panels off it would not hurt to add them (they do not come with the mirrors). The mirrors are solid built. Actual mirror installation is easy. I got power folding upgrade version, so that was a major PITA. Dont love the view with the bubble mirror but I'm not sure factory style tow mirror offers anything better. I put these on a new to me 2018 Ram. If I had it to do over again I would have kept shopping for a truck with factory tow mirrors. But if you are happy with your truck and want an upgrade in the mirrors, these are a good option.

I will soon be on my 3rd set of these mirrors in 7 years. Set#1 - Purchased in June 2017 to replace non-tow mirrors on 2014 Ram 2500. Install went fine, mirrors in/out no problem. However, the Ambient Temperature sensor caused all kinds of grief. Reading constant +40DegC. Seemed to be a looser connection than factory mirrors. Purchased some conductive paste, dunked the connectors in it, plugged into door module and issue resolved. Puddle and Turn Signals never worked from the start. Had options programmed at local Dodge dealer, still did not work..so whatever, I can live with that. Fast forward 5 years to July 2022, Drivers Side mirror only come in 1/2 way. No issues with Passenger Side. 1A Auto no longer ships to Canada, but the EXCELLENT customer service shipped out a whole new set to me. Set#2 - Arrived and took mere minutes to replace as all wiring was already done. When new units installed, Puddle and Turn Signals worked right out of the box. Closer inspection found that
