I have a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 extended cab LS will this fit ? im not sure what size my stock center support bearing is

Thank you for the inquiry! There were 2 sizes offered from the factory. We would need to know the size to determine if the part will fit. Try contacting the dealer with your VIN # to find out what size bearing you have and/also ask for the OE part # so we can try to cross reference it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

I have a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 extended cab LS will this fit ? im not sure what size my stock center support bearing is

Thank you for the inquiry. This is listed to be compatible with models that have the 35mm opening and for models with Dana Spicer 1310 or 1330 yoke. You will need to confirm if you have this size or the 40mm opening, you should be able to inquire with a local dealership or mechanic to get this information.

How to determine front and back of bearing?

The first image on this listing is showing the back side. So the smoother side is facing the rear.

Does it matter which side of bearing is pressed on the shaft?

Thank you for your inquiry Anthony! The flat black side (main listing picture) should be installed facing away from the driveshaft.

How can I tell the difference of what I need for my truck between the 40mm or the 35mm?

Thank you for your inquiry. If you have the part removed from your vehicle you can simply measure it to see what size your vehicle needs. If not, you may contact a local dealership with the vehicle's 17-digit VIN to confirm the size as well. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
