Hi Treyrussin, I know two things that may be of help. 1) This part didn't fit my 2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7L SXT, manual, 4X4. 2) I lost 2nd gear but all the other gears worked fine to about 18 months before they started giving problems as well. I had the transmission replaced and I hope to get another 5-10 years out of old Della Dakota. Best of luck!

These are really easy to install. All you have to do is disconnect the electrical connector and then use a wrench to remove it
