Works great easy to install
After watching the YouTube video, I felt like I could change the thermostat on my 2001 Tahoe, in spite of never having done anything like this before. So I ordered the part from 1A Auto. It arrived within a few days. I followed the YouTube video's instructions, and I successfully changed the thermostat on my own. Thanks 1A Auto! You made what would have been an expensive repair much more affordable!

When All the local part stores had thermostats that claim to be for my truck just werent the same as my actual part. 1A had the Exact match which made my job easier!! ????????????
The item was as described but there was such little to no further item description as to the fitment to other water pumps that are fitted to later models that are an upgrade to my vehicle which can and will fit on to my vehicle so although I purchased the water pump housing w/ thermostat from A1 Auto I am made unaware that said item will fit on to the newly purchased water pump that was purchased through another entity. When I consulted with a representative from A1 Auto they were unable to verify fitment as discussed in the above mentioned and when we discussed the action of returning the water pump housing w/ thermostat they were supposed to send me an email with the return instructions which I never got until I checked my spam folder and as the word spam implies I am made weary as to utilizing said email.
So despite giving 1aauto my VIN number, they still managed to send me the wrong part. Which, of course, I didnt find out until I had everything torn apart. I then had to pay the local auto parts store to deliver the correct part. I should have done that all along. A waste of time and money
I will chose this store first in the future. Used a big box store and they sold me the wrong part that cost me time and a second fluid flush. Entered the same data into A1auto and got the correct part on time and a good price.
