Application Specific Design: No modifications and pre-calibrated
Isotatic-pressed and plasma-sprayed for extended service life
Double-Layered 310S Stainless Steel: Additional protection from moisture and debris
Restored Engine Performance: Improved fuel economy and lower emissions
Description
TRQ oxygen sensors are manufactured to precise specifications using premium raw materials to optimize your vehicle’s emission system. Each sensor is isostatically-pressed for improved strength and durability, and plasma-sprayed to improve sensitivity and prolong the service life of the sensors. Oxygen sensors wear out over time and should be replaced every 60,000 miles to prevent poor engine performance. TRQ recommends replacing the oxygen sensors in sets to optimize fuel economy and reduce overall emissions. All products are fit and road-tested in our Massachusetts R&D facility to ensure we deliver on our promise of Trusted Reliable Quality.
What is Upstream vs. Downstream?
Upstream location is between the catalytic converter and the engine
Downstream location is between the catalytic converter and the tailpipe

The oxygen sensor was a perfect fit for the truck. Didn't require much in the way of instructions to remove and replace it with only two nuts and the connector to contend with.
One thing I would suggest is either providing the nuts or suggest them for purchase with the part. The truck was purchased new in 2000 and anything connected to an exhaust system should never last that long. Took a couple of squirts of nut buster and a pair of small vice grips to remove what used to be the nuts securing the part. Not carried by local auto parts stores so there is a need to offer these, in my opinion!
After installation, the check engine light was extinguished by clearing codes and has not returned after driving 400 miles!
First one was no good

Replaced my catalytic converter and figured I should replace the downstream O2 sensor as well. After a hopping around and found this one to be the best price and availability, Id also read about many other online options having problems with the pigtail connections not being exact. This one worked perfectly, direct plug and play couldnt have been easier.

My 03 Toyota Sequoia was throwing a downstream O2 sensor code and I didnt want to deal with the hassle of scheduling an appointment with a mechanic. I watched the applicable 1A Auto video on YouTube, ordered the part, and replaced it myself. It couldnt have been easier. The replacement sensor fit perfectly and the truck is running great again. Thanks so much for the fast shipping and quality product! It was my first 1A purchase but it wont be my last.

EASY INSTALL, DONT FORGET TO TIGHTEN THE SENSOR INTO THE BRACKET (ITS THREADED) BEFORE YOU INSTALL ONTO EXHAUST SYSTEM, ITS MUCH HARDER TO TIGHTEN ONCE ITS MOUNTED. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL OFF AFTER 600 MILES AND TONS OF CYCLES. SO I THINK THIS WAS THE CULPRET! LOL
Will not fit first GEN tundras. Prepare to solder wires.

First of all, 1a auto did an fantastic job helping me recover a lost package. Their customer service is excellent!
That being said, this O2 sensor does not fit the 2000 tundra as I was led to believe. The O2 sensor itself has a flange fitting that does not fit in the upstream sensor position (bank 1, sensor 1)
I was able to remove the flange for a proper fit of the O2 sensor into the exhaust system. I then Cut the factory connector off the old O2 sensor and soldered the wires to the new O2 sensor. I installed the new sensor, cleared the code and everything seems to be working well.
Do not buy

Garbage. Stopped working within a week of installing. Buy quality parts not cheap TRQ parts. Total waste of money and outside of the return window
