Does this tank come coated like the factory tank? If not do you recommend coating it with a truck bed liner or similar product?

This tank comes pre-treated and does not require any additional treatment/coating. We do not recommend putting any bed-liner on this.

Excellent Gas Tank

When Firestone couldn't find me a gas tank, I came here and was able to purchase one for myself! It was exactly what I needed, in great condition and arrived very quickly. Would recommend to anyone.

Replacement Fuel Tank Works

This purchase was to replace a leaking fuel tank. The tank looks almost identical to original. Did have a little trouble installing the emission/vent hoses. I had to flex the hoses around to make them fit. The original straps did not work with the replacement tank. Go ahead and install the new straps while you have the tank out, you will thank yourself later. Learned this the hard way. Other than a few fitment issues, the tank worked like it was supposed to do. As a bonus, it came with all new gaskets and screws.
