In this video I'm going to show you how to replace the side parking lights, the front ones on 2002 Toyota Tundra. The only tools you'll need for this are a Phillips screwdriver and a flat blade screwdriver. Maybe you're replacing your parking light because you broke it on those small fender-bender or something or maybe you want to replace the parking lights and the headlights at the same time so you can take your truck from looking this and now with a new set of lights like this. Let's check that out again. Here is the before. Old lights. Now, here with new lights from 1A Auto. I had about 45 minutes to an hour with basic tools. It looks like you took about 100,000 miles off the front of your truck. If you're replacing your parking lights, think about replacing your headlights too.
Use a Phillips screwdriver work it into this screw get it to turn a little bit and then use a flat blade screwdriver and pry it up. The center should come up first and then it should come out. Once you have that out, pull on the light and you can shake it loose. If you pull really firmly, it comes forward. Then, around back here is your connector. You could press the button and disconnect the bulb, change the bulb, twist counterclockwise. Pull it out back in. You can see the new light from 1A Auto, nice and clear. New one's not in bad shape but definitely the new ones are a little bit more clear. When you're putting it back in, this tab here, the fender goes between this tab here so plug your bulb in and feed it in. Look back here and see how it's going in. Make sure it's pressed against the light. Make sure it's up on top there. Okay, clips right in. Put the little top clip. Push it together. Now you're all set.

In this video I'm going to show you how to replace the headlights both just do the bulbs as well as replace the whole headlight assemblies on this '02 Toyota Tundra. Tools you will need are a 10mm socket with a ratchet and extension, as well as a Phillips and flat blade screwdriver. If you're just looking to replace a bulb I'll come right in behind and there's a connector right here. This connector you want to shake up and down, side-to-side, and then eventually it will pull off. Let's get this connector off, and then this boot here you can pull it up and off and I can see my bulb is already loose in here. Then once you get this back see this piece of wire here my fingers on press that wire up and out and then once this boot comes off your bulb comes up and out. To put it back in, pull the wire out of the way, put your bulb back in, push the wire down, and lock it in place. Take your boot and put it back in place, and then you take your connector and plug the light back in. Maybe you are looking to replace the whole headlight assembly because maybe you got in a little accident or something and broke one of the headlights. Or maybe you're looking to take your truck looking from this to more like something like this. Let's look at that again. Here's our truck before with the old lights, and now after with a new set of lights from 1A Auto.
Really in just about 45 minutes to an hour you can do this with basic tools and you really take miles off the front of your truck. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Kind of work it into this screw bit and turn a little bit, and then use a flat blade screwdriver and pry it up. This center should come up first and then the whole clip should come out. Once you have that out, you want to pull on the light and you can kind of shake it loose. If you pull really firmly, it comes forward. Then around back here is your connector. You can press the button and disconnect the bulb. Now to remove your headlight, there are four fasteners; a 10mm bolt here, a 10mm nut down here, and then two 10mm nuts over here; one there, and one there. I'm going to fast forward as I remove that bolt and the three nuts. Once those bolts are out, lift up on this side of the light, lift up on the inside of the light. The light comes out. Remove your connector.
Your headlight from 1A Auto will go right in and connect to your connector. Put the light in. Put it down on these two studs over here first. Go onto this one and then up there. We'll speed it up again here as I put those nuts and bolts on by hand first and then tighten them up nice and snug. You don't have to have them too tight just enough to hold the light together. When you're putting it back in, this tab here in the fender goes between this tab here so plug your bolt in. Feed it in and kind of look back here and see how it's going in. Make sure it's pressed against the light. Make sure it is up on top there. Clips right in. Take your little top clip push it together down in and you're all set.
