Alternator works great. Be aware that Volkswagen uses what is called an alternator decoupler pulley, and this one is a fixed pulley. The decoupler pulley is supposed to put less stress on the serpentine belt and related components in that drive line. Otherwise great part at a great price.
Great packaging, unlike autozone one I received with a broken casting around the stud. This one was packaged great, and its a good brand, and no annoying core charge return, and a great price. 10 stars, highly recommend.
Tried 2 others from another "rock" solid parts place. Both bad. Fit, but wire didn't fit well. Local auto parts house tested both. Bad. Purchased this one from 1a auto, fit great, worked at once. Super happy. Came on time. Couldn't be happier. Great price too.
