It was a good part. Seems to be doing great
I bought my Rabbit GTI new in 2007. It's been a great car and when the radiator sprung a leak I was let down. It only has 122k miles on it and it still has the original brakes and knock on wood just about everything else. I checked with my go to mechanical who I use for jobs I don't want to do myself. BTW I have five (5) classic cars which I do 90% of the service and maintenance on. Well they gave me an estimate of not less tan $700.00. Outrageous! Eighty percent of that cost was labor. I decided to do the job myself. It was a challenge to say the least. On my classic cars replacing a radiator is a simple straightforward job... Not so on the GTI. I entire from clip had to be removed to get at the radiator. I did use a video to give me direction. It took about 5 hours to remove the radiator so my mechanics quote was not so bad...for him. With the radiator out I could see the damage...a crack in the plastic tanks. I started my search for a replacement radiator. VW obviously
The radiator fits well with my car. I have not had any trouble with any parts I've ordered from this site. I will be ordering more in the future.
