2005 VW Beetle Hatchback Front Passenger Side Window Regulator TRQ WRA52732

Once I got the regulator installed it worked fine. However, I had a couple of installation problems that cost one star. First, the regulator is attached to the metal base plate by four bolts and nuts. Of these three were loose and the fourth was missing the nut. Fortunately I was able to kluge a solultion (since the bolts are metric it was not quite as simple as it might have been). And second I had difficulty getting the plastic part installed (I don't know what it is called or what it does). I couln't align the tabs with the holes in the base plate and eventually smashed them while trying. I was finally able to make it work by screwing the part to the base plate using drywall anchors. It is working so far but time will tell.

I was very satisfied with this window regulator. It arrived in two days and was in perfect condition. It looked just like it did in the picture and fit perfectly. It matched the original perfect. Once installation was complete it worked flawlessly. I've ordered several things for A1 and am always pleased.

SEEMS TO BE A GOOD UNIT(2ND ONE). FIRST ON SLIPPED THRU QUALITY CONTROL: SPRING LOADED PART WAS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN WORKS GREAT. THE VIDEO SHOULD SHOW THE INSTALLATION OF THE WINDER INTO THE PANEL..OR IT SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED.
