I purchased this fuel pump to replace a failing one, and overall, I'm very satisfied with the results. The pump came well-packaged with all the necessary seals and components for installation. Fitment was spot on, and it slid into place without any modification.
Fast shipping, parts fit as advertised (2000 VW Jetta 2.0). Just install today, so far so good.
Plug and Play everything working good so far! VW mmk4 GTI AWP!!
Works like a charm
Pump worked great. Had another problem and 1a replaced it but turned out to be a relay. Great customer service and speedy shipping.
It was the correct part and fit perfect in the vehicle. Installation was no problem. I did it myself and was glad it worked. Now the fuel gage works. Thank you.
easy to change and works great! Fast and peppy and ready to race again!
My fuel pump had broke on my 2001 1.8L MK4 Jetta. I called Oreilys Auto part store and they quoted me $260+ USD for the unit. I then returned back to 1Aauto.com to buy my fuel pump. I had bought a set of front window slide units for cheap and theyre still working great even after the years. Decent product. No issues - Its been in use for over a month. Also can I make a note on how stinkin Easy it is to change a fuel pump in a mk4?! My buddy had a Jaguar where he needed to have the back suspension taken apart, go in from under the car to drop the tank, then remove the fuel sending unit. The mk4 is as Easy as lifting a folded seat, Undoing a few screws and done. Super simple. Too bad my car smells like crayons... must be the glue they used.
Make sure you measure the outside diameter of the flange coming out before you order your part. Only got a good review for the customer service upon request to return the part.
The price was right and the instructions was clear, the pressures were at manufacturers specifications.
