Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a fog light on this 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. It's the same process on a large variety of Chevy trucks from 2007 to 2012. We're going to show you this if you need to replace your fog light because it's broken, or if you just need to replace the bulb in the fog light. The only tool you'll need is a 90 degree bent tip awl or pick, and you'll see how to use it.
What you want to do is just stick the pick back behind the fog light and just pop it right out. To disconnect the harness, you just push on the tab on the top and pull it away.
Now to change the bulb, you just push on these tabs and pull the bulb right out. Then you just push it back in and click it in.
To reinstall, you just line up the light and push the harness in. You can see there's three holes here, and you want to push these little ball shaped tabs into them and they pop right in. Then you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

So we're going to peel this splash shield back. It also will make it easier if you turn your wheel to the inside of whatever side you're working on so you can open this up. You can it’s in with some 7mm self-tapping screws and some push clips.
I'll start with the 7mm self-tapping screws. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver or trim clip tool, you're going to work these barbed clips out. Now we fold this up. Now you can peel you fender liner back and reach in and disconnect your fog lamp.
These three tabs or clips are tabbed on them on either side. You can squish them together with your fingers and push them out. Two top ones, now you reach out with your other hand to hold the fog light from the front. Squeeze the bottom one, sort of push them out, and then you're going to push from the middle to remove your fog light lens.
To install it, I'm going to leave these clips on here. Feed it in from the front, get it lined up with the holes, push it in, and that will click into place.
Reconnect the harness and your fog light lens is replaced. Pull that down. And then pull this down and push it back into place.
Replace the barbed clips if you took them out. Reinstall the 7mm self-tapping screws.
Thanks for watching. Visit us at 1AAuto.com for quality auto parts, fast and free shipping, and the best customer service in the industry.

Mine came with all the clips and everything to replace the factory clips as some had broken for me on my factory lights. The factory bulbs will lock right in place as normal. I only had difficulty trying to snap them in place as it takes some force once the holes are lined up.

Yes... ones i bought came with the little plastic clips that clip into the bumper caps... had to use a little force to get them in there but turned out good... im happy with them

Yes, it does. I did not use the bulb that came with it because I was replacing all my lights with LED's but the harness sent with the light assembly did match the factory hookup. This item was easy to install, fit perfect and was 1/2 the cost that the dealership wanted to charge me to order the parts. I saved a huge amount of money buying through 1A Auto!!!!

Unless otherwise stated our lights do not include the bulbs. Sometimes they will come with testers from the factory installed, but these are not covered under warranty and we recommend you reuse your original bulbs, or purchase new ones.

Yes but only a little bit. These are not OEM so they don't fit perfectly. Mine have some slop to them meaning they wiggle around. If I had realized I would have bought original GM foglight housings.
