Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs as well as replace the entire fog light assembly on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. It's the same part in some of the process on these Suburbans from 2000 to 2006. We show you on the driver side, but the passenger side is the same procedure. The items you'll need include a new fog light from 1AAuto.com, a 10mm socket, and a ratchet.
To change your fog light bulb, you'll just reach in behind the fog light. Life up the tab on the harness, pull it free and twist your bulb out. Take your new bulb, twist it back in clockwise, and reconnect your harness.
Now, to replace your entire assembly, you want to disconnect this harness by pulling up the tab and pulling it free. Then you want to remove these two 10mm bolts up on top of the fog light. We'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Once those are removed, the fog light will pull down and out.
On the left is the old fog light; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and will fit exactly the same. Take your new fog light and push it back into place. Then replace those two 10mm screws. We'll fast-forward as Don does this. Reconnect your harness, and you're all set.
