Great product at a great price. Simple to install I had the camera for three weeks it's not as bright as the original very close though, for the price difference it works great and I would recommend this as an alternative to the original

The camera works but the image is not as good as the original and the camera angle is slightly different. Also the camera stays on longer after you switch from reverse to drive. This may be due to not having the camera sync to the ecu. For me its better than paying $350-400 for the Ford camera.

Great product

I would highly recommend this product on top of being easy to install youll be saving a lot of money. Dealer was charging me 300 for the part itself and 250 for labor. Save your money

Camera works now but lines done align with oem cameras

I bought this for my wife's explorer because the original camera stopped working. Went in easy, but the lines on the backup camera don't track parallel with the cameras image. It's as if the field of view is to large. But it's better that nothing I guess

Easy to install and picture is crystal clear. My husband and I replaced our back up camera with this one from 1A Auto and it's perfect! We received a quote of over $1000 to have it replaced at the dealership and decided to follow DIY instructions online. It took us about 30 mins and the part was under $200! Big savings.

Works good. Maybe not the quality of the OEM camera we had on our 2012 but does the job. Doesnt have the sweeping grid lines that turn with the wheel but if you need those maybe you need practice backing up.

2012 Ford Explorer Limited - oem camera would say not available or sometimes show but not have backup lines or warning colors. Issue seemed to be massive amount of dirt and debris inside the trim piece holding the camera from a failed gasket. The new camera Plugged right in and works great. Didn't need to calibrate at the dealership or fscan. While the fov is larger, it still makes backing up much easier and safer. You hear about bent white lines on cheaper cameras - no issues on this. Would recommend. I also added some adhesive marine weather stripping to the trim to help keep debris and water out. Thanks!

What would cause My 2011 ford explorer camera has lost indicator lines?

Thank you for your question! The indicator lines are superimposed by the monitor, they have nothing to do with the camera itself. We would not be able to diagnose your issue over the internet. If you are unsure what is causing this issue we recommend you take your vehicle to a reputable garage to be diagnosed!
