In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the A/C and heater blower motor on this 2003 Ford F250, pretty much the same as any '01 to '07 Super Duty. A symptom of the blower going bad is if it starts making a loud groaning or high-pitch squeaking noise. That's when you know your bearings in your motors are going bad and it's going to need replacement. The only tools you'll need are 8 and 10 millimeter sockets with a ratchet and extension.
Your fan motor is right here on the passenger side and you're going to want to remove this junction box here first. Use a 10 millimeter socket on the extension with the ratchet. I'm going to fast forward as I just remove those two 10 millimeter bolts that hold that junction block in. One word of warning, you can see another little junction box right above where I'm working has two red wires going into it. That's a plow relay, this vehicle is equipped for a plow. You want to be careful not to touch any of your tools to those two posts because they are positively charged. The only way to prevent any sparks or anything will be not to touch them or to remove your positive and negative battery cables. Take this and carefully bring it up and out of the way. We're going to retrieve our two bolts.
Right here is the lead, just pull back on that tab, disconnect that. There's also a rubber moisture hose here. Just kind of pull that off. I'm going to use a ratchet and extension and 8 millimeter socket, and get this lower bolt here first. I'm going to fast forward again here as you just removed three 8 millimeter bolts. That's what holds the motor into the housing. There's my motor out. This tube just has a little collar that pulls off.
Here's the motor from 1A Auto. Put this gasket on. I'm going to fast forward as I kind of fumble with that gasket a little bit. It does have large holes on it, make sure those holes are lined up with the holes that the screws go in to. This goes one just like before. Push it in the hole and put the band around, hook it down in. Make sure the little alignment pins go through the holes here. Move the harness out of the way. We'll do some super-duper fast-forwarding here. Make sure you start all three of the fan motor bolts first then tighten them up with your 8 millimeter socket and ratchet and extension, then put the junction block into place and again, make sure that you start both bolts first then tighten them up. Last but not the least, plug it in and then reconnect your vent tube.

Easy to install. Works good old motor was getting weak. Watched a guy on U Tube install. I am happy with the parts I have purchased from 1A Auto. Don't be afraid of replacement parts from China most likely many of the OE parts are made in China.

The parts arrived on time and in good condition.
The video that1A Auto had was very helpful but it failed to tell me that I had to remove the starter relay and that made it a little more complicated but the video did give me the confidence to tackle this project.

I'm not a mechanic by trade, although, I've worked in the mechanical engineering field for 45 years. I am somewhat handy with tools. I took on this project and placed my order after having watched your 1A video. I found it to be very informative and helpful. Your pricing was attractive as well.
During installation, I found that the blower flange indexed well, although, I was disappointed to find a slight mismatch between the hole pattern of the existing housing's flange and the blower's mounting flange. For fear of breaking the plastic housing, near the fastener holes, I had to open up the clearance holes located on the on the blower's metal flange. Additionally, care had to be taken in order to not compromise the gasket.
All in all, can't compline. Very pleased with the resulting performance. Going forward, will continue to shop 1A.
Good value, clear instructions

This fit perfectly! It started to make a little noise so I asked if it was under warranty and the reply that I received was
Yes it is under warranty and we are out of stock so we have refunded your money.
I didn't even ask for that at this point. So just shows the level of concern they have for their customers happiness!!!

Customer Q&A
Does this come with the gasket? Do I need to replace the resistor as well?November 11, 2022

Sorry. It's been awhile and I can't answer the question about the gasket except to say that I didn't have to purchase one when I bought mine. In regards to the resistor question, the guidance I received was that if one went bad, the other is probably on its last legs, too, so I replaced both.
