Len: Hey friends, it's Len here at 1A Auto. Today, we're working on a 2011 Ford F-150. We're going to be doing something very simple, a seat switch, just tells the seat to go forward, backward, up, down, wiggle, wiggle, whatever. Right? If you need this part or any other part, you can always check us out at 1AAuto.com. Here we go.
Looks about the same, same length. That looks great, okay? On the inside, there's a little clip down here. There's one basically right there and there's one on the other side. There isn't really too much holding this puppy on, and that's probably why you're replacing it. Maybe it broke off just from light pressure. All I'm going to do is I'm going to use a nice, plastic tool. You can try to use something like a screwdriver, I wouldn't do that, but plastic. Right? Plastic, plastic, hopefully we don't mess up too much right here.
All I'm going to do is I'm going to try to wedge it. I'm going to try to pop it off. Let's see if it'll come, oh, seat works. It's coming, just taking its time. See about wiggling it here. All you got to do is get it to break free. There's just little clips inside here, so once I get it to break free, it's going to come right off. Okay? Not too worried about in exception of just the seat keeps moving around, so there's one. There's two. Okay?
We'll just do a quick comparison. As you can see, the insides are both the same. Right? I guess this one's upside down. Could turn it that way, now they're both the same. They got both the same clips, clips, clips, clips, clips. Looks great, great, perfect even to the point that I couldn't tell which one is which at this point, except for this one is brand-new, quality 1A Auto part, and the other one's original.
I'll put that one aside. I'm going to recycle it. I'm going to take this one. I'm just going to line it up and then I'm going to slide it right in. I should hear a couple of clicks, there we are. We'll test it. Perfect, there we go.
