Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs as well as replace the entire taillight assembly on this 2005 Ford Excursion. It's the same part and similar process on these Excursions from 2000-2005, and we show you on the passenger side, but the driver's side is the same procedure. The items you'll need for this include new taillights from 1AAuto.com and a T20 Torx Driver.
Start off by removing these four T20 screws, and we'll fast forward as Don does that. Now, pull the taillight out. To service the bulbs you just twist the socket counter-clockwise, pull the bulb out, push a new one in, and twist it clockwise to lock it, and you do the same thing with this one right here. If you want to replace the entire assembly just twist out both of your sockets.
On the left is the old taillight assembly, on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical and they're going to fit exactly the same. On the back of our new assembly we're just going to remove these two lower stickers because we don't have a third bulb for the top. Some of the models might. Just twist in your two sockets. Line up those two tabs and push it back into place. Then replace those four T20 screws.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

Purchased a Tail Light for my Ford E-Van. The positive : It was a match to the original. This is the 2nd Tail Light replacement and the 1st one I purchased (from another on-line parts supplier) didn't exactly match. The Negative : The rubber seal wasn't adhered properly to the light. I don't blame 1A for this as they didn't make the thing. But I do find the lack of quality parts availability a bit frustrating. Especially when they are advertised as OEM replacements.
My previous Light leaked, filled with water and about ruined the connector. But as for 1A - I find them to be Fair, and reputable. I purchased a passenger side view mirror that cracked and they arranged to send me out a new one immediately at no cost. Thank You 1A !!

I have ordered many replacement parts for my truck and van.
Everything that I have purchased from 1A Auto has worked every single time with a problem. They have very good suppliers.
The staff was very helpful and very diligent making sure I got the right parts.
All parts have been very reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend anyone who needs a preplacement part or parts for there vehicles to look here first.
