Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To get to the cabin filter, we're going to open the lower glove box. You'll probably want to empty it, because on this side there's a small little piston. Just pop it off and then you'll push in on this side here. It's entirely possible it will unclip from the dashboard too. It's not really a big deal, it's just plastic clips underneath. You can actually pop it right off, get it out of the way. Inside here is your cabin air filter. Push this lock tab in. Open up the little door. Pull the cabin air filter out. That was actually not too bad.
Here's the original cabin air filter and a brand new one from 1AAuto.com. Same exact size, style. This one will fit great and work great for you. Take the new one and it slides right into the opening. Take our cover and capture the tab on this side. Push it right over. There’s an arrow pointing up. Grips into place. This parts complete. Take the glove box and clip it back on. Lift it up. Push up into place, and it's on the locks and then reinstall the little shock. Just like that. Job is complete.

Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Here’s how to change the cabin filter. Going to open our glove box. You're going to want to take all your stuff out of the glove box. On this side there's a little glove box dampener, and that's what keeps it from slamming open. I just pull it off. There are two tabs that this sits on—one on this side, and one on this side. Just kind of push in on the plastic. Takes a bit of force. Just going to pop it out. Same thing on this one, you just kind of pull in. That one might pop back in on this side. You just got to kind of work them both down.
The glove box is going to drop down. If it pops off of the hinges, that's not a big deal. You can clip it back on afterwards, just lay it down here. This is our cover for the cabin filter. It's got an arrow pointing up to help you reinstall it. There's two clips on either side. You’re going to push them in, and we'll pull the cover off. You have to go with one first, get that free, then do the other one, work it out. Cabin filter should slide straight out. Try not to turn it, you don't want to dump any of the stuff out that's inside of it, all the debris. Now we can change this out.
Here's our old, dirty cabin filter from our vehicle, our new one from 1aauto.com. Same exact size, same thickness. This'll fit in the car and work much better than this dirty one. We're going to take our new one. There's no direction of flow on this one. Just going to place it, and slide it in.
Reinstall our cover with the arrow pointing up. Push it right in, and it's going to lock in place. Alright, need to make sure that these lower hinges, they snap over these hinges that are on the dashboard. It can be a little tricky. Just slide them up into place. They're going to snap in just like that. You're going to lift the glove box up. Might have to pull in so these tabs can slide in. Now it's locked. Can reinstall the damper piece, going to pull it down, clip it back in. Glove box is all set, put all your stuff back in. The cabin filter's been changed.
