Parts arrived quickly and undamaged. Instructional video was truly helpful. May car didn't actually need this switch, I needed the hazard button, which has the blinker relay inside of it, yours might be the same, buy the hazard button at the same time and replace both while you're at it.

This item was in brand new condition when I got it and was easy to install, given you use the accompanying video from 1A Auto. I now no longer have to worry about only having my brights and have my low beams again. Plus i can now control the cruise control via my steering wheel or the multi function switch (turn signal/high beam/ cruise). Thank you 1A AUTO!!!!!

I had one of these put in at a repair shop that I deal with, it lasted about 5 months and cost me $280.00 for the switch and $75.00 to install it. After watching there video I bought the switch from A1 and installed it myself. It took less than a hour to replace, works great. Thanks A1 Auto

Worked Well Great Fit

A few tips based on my 2000 plain Jane Impala WITH cruise Control: 1) Watch the video 2) The video shows the use of a crescent wrench on the one Torx driver for the screw behind the wheel. I turned the wheel and was able to use a Torx bit in a screwdriver... much easier. 3) To get to the two wire connector, it was easier to remove the steel knee shield under the column by removing the 4 bolts. 4) There was a green locking tab I needed to push towards the engine on one of the connectors. 5) I had to remove that one panel that goes all the way across the dash in order to get the top wheel column cover off (PITA). 6) Your vehicle may vary... Have fun!

I used a 1Aauto Youtube video to do it and I couldn't have done it without them. My lights wouldn't work unless I held the switch back, I was able to turn them on if I turned a flashlight onto the light sensor at night so it was a big problem needless to say. It took about 2.5 hours for me to install and everything worked except my cruise control, but that's a trade I'm willing to take I saved a lot of money and learned a few things thanks to 1Aauto and I'll be using them for all purchases in the future thanks again!

The switch was built at a much higher quality than the other aftermarket switches I purchased from other vendors; the plastic was denser, and the wiring harness was extremely well put together. My left rear blinker no longer worked. After checking all the obvious things, lights, connections etc, then the wiring. I checked the switch and it was really messed up. It made loud crunchy sounds when turning left. Looked up the part and came across this replacement. The quality is excellent even better than the original. It's nice to be able to read and see what the words on the switch says now. Installing it is not hard but time consuming if you're doing it yourself. Fortunately the detailed video for replacing the switch is a life saver. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. The only caveat is the video doesn't cover this version with the cruise control. But it's fairly simple although a pain to get to. It's strapped to the right top side of the column. You'll need to get on your back, reach under the metal grate then around the climb to unclip the plug. The plug itself is not hard to take out but look at how it releases from the new plug and you'll figure

Note that other (youtube) videos instructed to remove airbag and steering wheel; this is not needed. thnx 1A! The part fit well, I did need to shave a small piece of plastic for the large connector to seat correctly - not a big deal. Installed well, works well, excellent price. thanks

Did not work , this part # 1AZCC00143 is a bad multifunction switch , this is second one I have installed , the brown wire was burned at connection on switch, heated up light switch so hot you could not touch, replaced with durolast multifunction switch and this works fine first time

The first ones that I bought from A1 Auto worked for 3 days, then the low beams did not work or the cruise control. I just installed the new part that I received and it worked for one day. The low beams quit working this morning. I had to manually hold the lever arm to engage the high beams just to have lights. I hope that I can find out what is wrong so I can fix it and be able to have lights.

Thanks for the question! even 'an undercover' police model is a police model, so you will want to purchase parts based on that. This lever is not meant to add the cruise option to your vehicle. Instead it only replaces the lever on vehicles that had cruise from the factory. Thank you!

Do you have cruise control on your car? I think that is likely what the brown and green wire goes to. I am sorry that it is so long ago that I did this that I don't remember where that connected, but as I recall, I just reconnected the same place that it connected when it came out which is how I found it. I think that I had the opposite problem from what you probably have. I originally bought the assembly that did not have cruise control and I needed it, so I had to do the whole job all over again with the right part later! I suspect you will be fine just not connecting the two wires if you don't have cruise control.

Not having the car anymore, my thought is it is for cruise control. I believe the switch comes with the cruise control option but if your vehicle doesnt have cruise control then there would be no place to plug these wires into.
